The 4th UEG Mongoose Series
Rules and Total Scoring
Rules:
Welcome to the UEG's 4th Mongoose Series! After going over what has worked and failed in the past Mongoose Series, we have come up with the rules and scoring for this one.
Signing Up:
In order to race you will have to sign up for not only the series, but for each individual race as well. In order for you to sign up for the series, all you have to do is send a Friend Request to UEG Racing over Xbox Live. Each week, UEG Racing will send out a message about that week's race, and in order to sign up for that race, all you have to do is send a reply to that message confirming that you will be there to race. If you realize you can't make a race after you have already signed up for it, just send a message to UEG Racing saying why you can't make the race and we'll take you out for that week. Sign ups will for each race will close 6 hours before the race starts. Please keep in mind that the Activities Director can ban you from races from breaking the rules or the Rules and Regulations; participating in activities is a privilege, not a right.
Please Note: Since this activity does have a prize for the winner, you have to have been in the community for at least a month before being able to race.
Showing Up:
All races should be held on Friday's at 7pm EST unless it is noted otherwise. When the races start, you may not be in the first heat. If that is the case, then please wait until you receive an invite from a race official. After the invite is sent out, you will have no more than 5 minutes to join before you are disqualified from the race. If you don't show up for a race you signed up for without giving a reason 4 hours before the race starts, you will be barred from signing up to compete in the next race.
Racing:
Where the game start you are to get on the mongoose that the Race Official assigns you to. If the Race Official decides "First Come, First Serve" then it will be who ever gets to the mongoose first gets it. When every player is in their mongoose, they must wait until the Active Camo (or Blue Light) spawns before starting down the track. The finish line will be signified by the VIP Checkpoint. If the game double counts you for a single lap, then your score to finish will be 1 higher than everyone else. You are not allowed to use any shortcuts or paths that were not originally planned in the track before hand. If you fall off the track, you must go back to where you fell off or as close as you possibly can before continuing.
All Race Officials can not race in the Series. All rules can be changed without notice and can be used to the Race Official's discretion. Exceptions/Race Official's decisions can only be made/overturned by UEG Stewball AD or UEG Dero AD.
Scoring:
The scoring of the Mongoose Series will depend on how you place in the A, B, C main after the end of a race. The person who places 1st in the C main will get to race in the B main, and the person who places 1st in the B main will get to race in the A main. Click here is the total scoring sheet.
Prizes:
1st place: A 3 month Xbox Live Subscription Card
2nd place: A 1 month Xbox Live Subscription Card
Maps:
Maps will be raced on each week unless otherwise notified. The maps and gametypes can be found in the bottom of UEG Stewball AD's Fileshare.
